Joel Vinas is the Director of Operations for the NewSpace Business Plan Competition which has awarded over $300,000 in cash prizes to promising startups in the space sector. The NewSpace BPC is the worlds’ only professional competition focused on supporting entrepreneurs with space or space-scalable business ideas. In his years as a managing team member of the NewSpace BPC, Joel has supported, coached and consulted for dozens of early stage start-ups, giving him a uniquely deep understanding of this market segment. He holds a BS in Business Management from the University of Central Florida. A Co-founder of NewSpace Chicago, Mr. Vinas currently serves as an Operations Analyst for both Exodus Consulting Group and Starcom Mediavest Group.
